Stations of the Cross

Since we got here in Manarola we have been intreged by the figures up the hill representing the ststions of the cross. We did ask some locals what was going to happen with themz and received a variety of responses, none of which made any sense. However tonight all was revealed  - a magical display of lights.

  1. To be so lucky to experience the Stations of the Cross like that, as it looks fascinating.

And those old building and structures with their history and architure in Genoa.....ahhh to experience that too.

Enjoy your last day or so in Manarola as your adventure continues as you will be in Lucca soon.

    Have fun and stay healthy.

    1. I would say that there is only a very small number of the population who celebrate Easter as we have had a difficult time even finding out what time Easter Sunday mass is on. There is a divide between older traditional residents and ths tourist trade which is all about $$$$$$$$. I think we celebrate more at home. Happy Easter anyway my love. Have a great day with the family.
